My inspiration: Latino musical instruments…congas, guitars and trumpets. Dancing in the streets of an historical city, under the light of the moon, the mix of delicious drinks, like Dr Pepper and Piraguas.

My inspiration: color…vivid colors as in the Incas, Aztec & Mayans. Pre-Columbian concept imagery is based on 23 colors, diamonds and actual graphics, rotating like DP logo reflects and Aztec/Mayan coins inspire.

I based my artwork on my own experiences in the kitchen. I turn up Juan Gabriel, open a Dr Pepper, and cook and sing to the smell of beans and enchiladas bubbling in the oven.

The word Sabrosura, to me, means sweet and flavorful. I interpreted it in the Dia De Los Muertos theme, which is my favorite Hispanic celebration. Everything in this painting is what I enjoy and love.
